NAVYUG SCHOOL PANDARA PARK

Eco club Navyug School Pandara Park plays an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the students. In this club we offer programs and activities to encourage others to cleanliness, tree plantation, conservation of water, reduce pollution etc. So the main motive of the Eco Club is to nurture and teach the importance of environment to students.

Objectives

• To motivate the students to keep their surroundings green and clean by undertaking plantation of trees.
• To promote culture of conservation of water by minimizing the use of water.
• To maintain cleanliness in and around the school.
• To educate students to create awareness amongst public and sanitary workers, so as to stop the indiscriminate dumping and burning of waste which causes respiratory diseases.

Eco Club also conducts sapling plantation drive in the school every year. It conducts various activities like poster making, slogan writing, quiz, poem recitation, essay writing, etc. during various occasions to sensitise the students towards environment related issues.

An eco-club can thus help to extend boundaries and scope of the formal educational system encouraging creativity, and improving students for constructive action.
